We are in what is spoken of in scripture as the \u2019latter days\u2019 or the \u2018last days\u2019. This is the period before Christ\u2019s return. Satan and the Antichrist will be extremely active seeking to blind people from truth, even the Church. Paul, in his second letter to Timothy, warns of this. He calls them \u2018perilous times\u2019. I think it\u2019s worthy of sharing what will be prevalent in the world.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(2 Tim. 3.2-5).<\/p>\n See any of this in our culture today? Every Spirit-filled believer in Christ has the message.\u00a0What is it; what is yours? Paul\u2019s message to the Corinthians is clearly ours also. As I see it, especially in America, the gospel has been diluted, and the message is more social reform than it is truth. Today, as never before, we need to start sending the true message of the gospel to a confused, blinded, and dying world.<\/p>\n The gospel according to 1 Corinthians 15.1-5 is:\u00a0\u201cChrist died for your sins and rose from the dead\u201d.\u00a0<\/em>That\u2019s the good news that has saved you and me, and countless billions. We are Jesus\u2019 messengers. Are we delivering his gospel to a lost and dying generation? If not, why not? He gave his life, why don\u2019t we give him our best?
