During this pandemic season, we are all needing some encouragement. Well, I\u2019m not sure I can top these fourteen verses. Ephesians 1.1-14<\/p>\n<p>So, we\u2019ll look at them together and I\u2019ll highlight what we have received in Christ.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"mcnButton \" title=\"Click here to read Ephesians 1.1-14\" href=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/48f0a3176e591c0dae0ebeba6\/files\/e6fbf709-7322-422b-80d8-48b24f11562d\/Ephesians_1.1_14.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to read Ephesians 1.1-14<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Blessed vs. 3<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Chosen vs. 4<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Predestined vs. 5<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Adopted vs. 5<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Accepted vs. 6<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Redeemed vs. 7<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Forgiven vs. 7<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Enlightened vss. 8,9<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Given an inheritance vs. 11<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Sealed vs. 13<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Assured vs. 14<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Does it get any better than that? What else could anyone ask for? All because Jesus was willing to obey his Father and be sacrificed on that cruel cross. No cross, no blessings! All of these are yours by faith in the gospel.\u00a0<em>\u201cChrist died for our sins and rose from the dead.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>The Triune God<\/h3>\n<p>Some people, well-meaning people, question the Triune nature of God. Let\u2019s see all three at work in our salvation in these fourteen verses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Father chose us:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0election\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0vss. 3-6<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Son redeemed us:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0redemption\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0vss. 7-12<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Spirit sealed us:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 protection\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0vss. 13-14<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Do you believe this? It\u2019s true, whether you feel it or not. God, the Triune God, had this in mind when he\/they created mankind. Is this not love, agape love, unconditional love!\u00a0<em>The Father gave, and we received<\/em>. Good news for all times, even for eternity. So, perk up, you are blessed!
