Kids begin their lives with big dreams. They could be great leaders, innovators and humanitarians leaving well-known legacies. However, without a father in the household, their lives may follow an all too familiar pattern that we’ve seen today.<\/p>\n

So, the first and most important step is just being present. It’s important to be a loving father, however, do not discount the impact of just being present in your child’s life. After all, do you want your boy to model your behavior or what they see on TV? If you have a daughter, do you want her to gravitate toward the first man who pays attention to her or should she learn from you how men should treat a bride?<\/p>\n

Are you willing to be present, not perfect, and make an impact in helping your child have a life where they can still dream?<\/p>\n
